Supply Systems Analyst
DLA Careers is seeking a Supply Systems Analyst to enhance the efficiency of supply operations. The role involves understanding system functionalities, recommending process improvements, and analyzing performance metrics related to the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning System and other logistics systems.

Responsibilities
Understand system functionality and business capabilities of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning System (N-ERP), Material Access Technology (MAT) and Logistic Data Warehouse (LDW)
Serve as the focal point for investigating matters that have a broad, cross-process impact and recommend improvements for those processes
Identify areas for system or process improvement in supporting N-ERP end users
Develop and monitor process-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Analyze and evaluate KPIs, metrics and other process performance critical data to ensure the process area is meeting its performance targets
Serve as point of contact (POC) for assessing the impact of policy/legislative requirements from Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), DoD and Congress
Interpret regulatory requirements that impact the Material Management, Warehouse Management, Planning and Order Fulfillment process area

Must be a U.S. citizen
Tour of Duty: 1st shift, Set scheduled, 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive with Secret Access
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt
Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized
Bargaining Unit Status: Yes
Selectees are required to have a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents to access certain federal facilities
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled
To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement
Creditable specialized experience includes: Plan initiatives that have cross-process impact in supply operations
Use of industrial support, planning systems (MAT, LDW and N-ERP) and other Federal and commercial supply and inventory systems
Conduct Functional Systems Analysis to analyze, develop, document and evaluate complex functional systems
