Responsibilities

Lead projects across all phases of the lifecycle from problem definition through delivery, owning communication of key deliverables and status to stakeholders
Define ambiguous projects, break them down into smaller tasks, delegate when appropriate, and guide projects to completion with minimal oversight
Design, develop, and manage scalable Business Intelligence solutions, encompassing front-end visualizations and robust back-end data infrastructure, to cater to a broad user base and streamline ETL processes
Partner with key stakeholders to identify problems and collaboratively propose solutions, helping them understand the value that analytics can provide to their domains
Work with leadership to influence and define roadmap, providing strategic guidance in stakeholder initiative planning
Mentor junior team members through intentional and proactive guidance, helping design and participate in programs that foster mentorship within and outside the analytics organization
Elevate the skills of the team through knowledge sharing activities, proactively researching, evaluating, and evangelizing emerging trends and technologies
Make connections to elevate peers across analytics, including connecting them to documents, technologies, and people to support their work and facilitating opportunities for learning
Elevate, influence, and drive technical standards across the organization
Balance competing priorities to focus on the most impactful work, while navigating ambiguity to deliver value across multiple business domains

Required

1+ years of hands-on development experience with Looker Core, including building explores, views, and LookML models
Quantitative degree (preferably a Master's or PhD) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or similar quantitative analytics discipline
5+ years of related professional experience in analytics
5+ years of experience developing and deploying production-level SQL queries with demonstrated ability to write repeatable and robust code
3+ years of experience with advanced BI visualization, including managing complex suites of dashboards with automated monitoring strategies
Professional experience using R or Python in an analytics capacity with expert knowledge of at least one programming language
Experience with Conversation Analytics and working with LLMs and AI technologies in an analytical context
Experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations that influence stakeholder decisions
Experience designing and executing analytical approaches with minimal information, creating and executing clear, results-driven analytical plans
Demonstrated ability to lead the delivery of high-impact, large-scale data products in production
Proven ability to conduct complex analytical storytelling, tying together data across different functional areas to answer complex and ambiguous questions
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. git) and demonstrated ability to establish and drive coding standards
Deep understanding of business domains, processes, data sources, and key metrics, with ability to function as expert on data sources within domain
Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills, with ability to troubleshoot, educate, and convey results to non-experts and experts alike, anticipating stakeholder reactions and effectively landing unpopular or conflicting findings
Ability to develop strong relationships with a multitude of teams and personnel, investing time in creating and nurturing partnerships with stakeholders
