Responsibilities

Set technical direction for core transaction and wallet-adjacent backend systems
Design and evolve APIs used by external developers and internal product teams
Lead architecture decisions around scalability, correctness, and operational resilience
Partner with product, infra, and protocol teams to drive multi-quarter initiatives
Raise engineering standards through design reviews, mentorship, and technical leadership

Required

7+ years of relevant industry experience
BS/BA degree in Computer Science
Senior level backend engineering experience operating large production systems
Strong proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and/or Rust
Proven track record designing durable, widely-used APIs
Strong understanding of smart contract execution:
Comfort reading ABIs, logs, traces, and transaction receipts
Ability to reason about on-chain behavior without writing Solidity
Experience leading complex technical projects across teams
Clear ownership mindset and high technical judgment
