Sr Technical Program Manager - 3GPP Stack, Amazon Leo

Responsibilities

Lead integration and development of next generation satellites
Drive complex programs that become part of the LEO satellite infrastructure
Lead design, implementation, deployment and operations of a 3GPP 5G NTN and Open RAN based networking and management stack functions for satellite payloads
Work closely with software, test and validation, reliability, RF hardware, and custom silicon development teams to optimize payload connectivity solutions
Drive alignment and execution through technical depth, strong program fundamentals, and trusted partnerships

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience leading software/hardware development and integration teams working on 3GPP based UE and base stations
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
Experience with RF lab equipment including VNA, power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators
Experience with automation, testing, or monitoring framework development
Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
Experience with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
