Serve as the firm’s direct contact with the client and develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
Lead the design team and manage internal project organization
Prepare project proposals and conduct design engineering
Schedule and budget projects effectively
Engage in business development and generate new work for the firm
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, with a concentration in power distribution or lighting design
Registered Professional Electrical Engineer
Minimum seven years of related project management and engineering experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to oversee the work of others and delegate work effectively
Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets, and meet project deadlines
Ability to coordinate in house and/or external consultant based design teams
Experience in business development with proven expertise in relationship building
Understands the capabilities and demonstrates a working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT
Technical competency in design and engineering for the following technical areas: Power distribution systems (low voltage and medium voltage), Coordination of electrical utility company services, Short circuit analysis, and system coordination and arc flash studies, Emergency power distribution systems, Photovoltaic and co-generation systems, Motor control systems (PLC based, SCADA), Lighting design, Lighting control systems, Title 24 Lighting, Telephone/data systems design, Fire alarm systems design
Preferred
Experience working with Bay Area/Northern California clients a plus
Experience managing and mentoring technical staff
