Responsibilities
Provide on-site and remote support across field offices, rigs, and completion sites
Resolve incidents and requests within SLAs; escalate effectively when needed
Participate in a shared on-call rotation for after-hours or urgent field needs
Build, image, and configure Windows 11 devices; troubleshoot OS, driver, and hardware issues
Maintain printers, rugged laptops/tablets, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals
Enroll and manage devices in Intune (compliance policies, configuration profiles)
Package and deploy Win32/MSI applications; remediate failed deployments and report on compliance
Troubleshoot end-user connectivity on corporate networks, WiFi, LTE gateways/hotspots, and satellite-backed links
Perform basic triage of IP/DHCP/DNS/VPN issues; gather diagnostics for network team handoff
Qualification
Required
More than 4 years in desktop support or field IT (multi-site or industrial/energy environment a plus)
Strong Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting
Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, app packaging & deployment)
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi, VPN concepts; ability to collect and interpret relevant logs
PowerShell for light automation and troubleshooting
Printer/peripheral support
Mobile device support (iOS/Android) a big plus
Excellent problem-solving, urgency, and ownership, comfortable working independently in remote settings. Good communication
Preferred
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MD102 (Endpoint Administrator)
Safety Training: H2S, PEC SafeLand, First Aid/CPR (or equivalent) relevant to oilfield operations
