Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on efficiency, safety, and quality
Oversee receiving, inventory management, packing, and dispatching of orders for field labor teams while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Collaborate with field managers to understand order requirements and ensure timely preparation of materials for installations
Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits, tracking of shipments, and effective stock management practices
Identify areas for operational improvement within the warehouse; implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment; conduct regular safety training sessions for staff
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, order fulfillment metrics, and team performance; prepare reports for senior management as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role within the construction or field labor industry
Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams (10+ employees)
Knowledgeable in warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, packing procedures, and logistics coordination
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure
Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including field labor personnel
Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) or other inventory tracking systems
Preferred
Familiarity with smart home technology or related fields is highly desirable
