Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to define data requirements
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of enterprise data
Own resolution of data issues escalated to the team, from accurately scoping and defining the problem through root cause analysis and cross-functional coordination of remediation activities
Maintain metadata catalog including tagging and classification
In collaboration with subject matter experts and other data stewards, implement data standards, processes, controls, and procedures to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
Drive alignment on data definitions, policies, governance, and enforcement of enterprise business rules for enterprise data
Guide effective internal controls for sensitive, protected and shared data to ensure compliance with information governance policies (e.g. privacy and consent)
Facilitate Data Domains, Data Quality and Analytics Competency work sessions

Required

Bachelor's degree is required
3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or related initiatives, with a strong understanding of data stewardship, metadata, and data privacy practices
Experience with modern data platforms, such as Snowflake or other cloud‑based environments
Working knowledge of data technologies, standards, and best practices, including governance, quality, and privacy frameworks with a strong understanding of how data supports business strategy, business processes, and downstream impacts
Proven ability to create, document, and maintain data policies, standards, and procedures
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels, influence without authority, build consensus, and resolve complex issues with sound judgment and strong listening skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail and quality

Preferred

Experience with Collibra or Informatica tools is preferred
Experience understanding data modeling concepts is preferred
Advanced SQL experience
