Responsibilities

Drive the adoption of Cisco's solutions to meet customers’ needs
Assess the customer's current and future-state architectures and build an end-state vision
Align technology with customer Strategic Plans to enhance mission and business objectives
Experiment with various technologies through customized lab environments and collaboration with Technology and Product Specialists

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience
Consistent track record of crafting comprehensive architectures and effectively aligning operational advantages to customer business outcomes
Experience working with Cisco's Enterprise networking portfolio including: Enterprise Routing and Switching platforms, Wireless, Collaboration, and Security solutions. Must also have foundational knowledge of network automation to include Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki Dashboard, and industry-standard Python libraries and tools such as Netmiko and NAPALM, Ansible, and pyATS
Must possess at least one of the following active certifications: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security; CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or DevNet Professional

Preferred

Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to build substantive relationships with customers through remote and in-person meetings
A broad technology foundation and learning agility to stay ahead of industry changes and product roadmaps
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment and possess outstanding time management skills
