Principal National Account Executive, National Supply & Care Delivery Team (GPO, AIC & IMC)

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver on commercial account strategies for key national organized customers including Super Groups, Distributors, GPOs, Societies and other customers within the National Supply & Care Delivery Team
Lead key account engagement with the goal of helping to ensure product access across the portfolio, advance GNE business objectives and build/advance relationships at all levels of aligned customers
Collaborate with the Core Teams and aligned Medical Affairs Executive Director to understand customer capabilities, product dynamics, Squad priorities, and the healthcare environment
Build and leverage networks with internal stakeholders to exchange insights and inform Genentech strategies
Negotiate agreements with national customers including Distribution, GPO and/or Super Group/Aggregator customers to support Genentech's product portfolio
Define the Commercial strategic vision for assigned accounts, aligning with Genentech and Squad Therapeutic Area strategies and identifying partnership opportunities
Think creatively about cross-portfolio opportunities, prioritize them, develop strategies and tactics, and drive execution with partners
Negotiate favorable agreements to support distribution, purchasing, services, data, and other programs for Genentech products, impacting results beyond assigned accounts
Serve as the expert on assigned national accounts, providing advice and counsel across the Customer Engagement team, and representing account segments in business planning processes and forums
Qualification
Required
15+ years with a Bachelor's degree, 13+ years with a Master's degree, or 10+ years with a PhD/JD
In-depth knowledge of managed care strategy development, including contracting with strong relationships with regional or national accounts
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy across complex healthcare environments inclusive of an ability to influence without authority and mobilize colleagues to action around shared goals
Cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or related field
Preferred
Previous experience with large national customers (Super Groups, Distributors, GPOs or Societies)
