Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software for payload control systems
Implement and test networking protocols and socket programming
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate software solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure optimal system performance
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship is required
Proficiency in C++ programming
Experience with networking protocols and socket programming

Preferred

Agile experience
Software development experience in a Linux environment
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience with the QT Framework
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
Understanding of Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS)
Familiarity with Git version control system
Knowledge of submarine systems and operations
