Responsibilities
Assists Project Engineer (Engineer 6) with management of Construction unit(s). Assign technicians and equipment to projects
Serves as project manager over more complex projects. Functionally supervises staff assigned to project
Attend meetings associated with projects such as plan-in-hands or pre-construction conferences. May represent Project Engineer at said same meetings
Review preliminary plans and make recommendations for construction. May lead survey parties to perform layout work or obtain field information for project office or other sections
Enhances technical and management skills through participation in continuing education seminars or courses
May be required to perform other duties as necessary including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities

Benefits
This position is eligible for shift differential pay for hours worked after 6pm & before 6am when working on Construction projects only.
