Responsibilities
Serve as a manager for the social media team (two full-time staff). Organize and coordinate upcoming work, weekly plans and daily content
Provide guidance to project teams, managing tasks, scope, and timeline. Serve as social media lead in editorial and project scoping and planning discussions, connecting with the social media team as social channel experts
Act as a social media representative and primary point of contact for the social media team, ensuring clear communication to the team, assigning roles to and making connections for the social media team
Additional communications strategy and social media responsibilities possible, if aligns with skills and experiences
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and leadership skills with a minimum of two years' experience supervising or managing full-time staff
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a minimum of two years' experience setting project goals, scope, and timeline, as well as regularly reporting on project status and forecasting team workload
Minimum of two years' experience using Asana or similar project management platform
Preferred
Experience in communications, marketing or related field
Experience with social media content and posting
Experience with higher education or executive communications a plus
