They are seeking an intern for their Statistical Sciences and Statistics & Data Analytics departments to perform statistical analysis and methodology development, contributing to data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support the organization's mission.

Responsibilities
Perform as part of a technical team conducting creative statistical research
Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to provide statistical expertise on data collection and analysis, methodology development, and applied statistical research
Engage in project participation, applied research and development, statistical consulting, instructing, and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Earned bachelor's degree
Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, asylees or refugees in the U.S
Preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience acquiring, preparing, and analyzing real world data
Currently pursuing a master's or doctorate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field
Familiarity with at least one statistical programming language (e.g., R, MATLAB, Python)
