As a Software Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in software development, engage in training sessions, and contribute to projects through feature and application development during the summer internship program.

Responsibilities
Engage in training sessions on programming languages, frameworks, and technologies used in BBI's projects (React, Next.js, TypeScript, C#, and Python)
Study documentation and resources to gain a deep understanding of the tech stack
Learn to develop code for readability, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint review meetings
Work on individual and/or small group projects designing and developing simple applications, tools, and/ or utilities
Implement features, with the assistance from senior developers, into BBI’s existing software
Review code submitted by peers and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, DevSecOps, QA, etc.) to deliver comprehensive solutions
Present features and applications to senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work on site in Columbus, Ohio
Capable of completing the 11-week program completely on site at our Columbus office
Able to work in office as this internship does not offer remote opportunities
Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Junior and Senior undergraduates pursuing a bachelor's degree preferred
