Part Time Human Resources/Training Assistant
Schwebel Baking Company is seeking a Human Resource/Training Assistant to provide support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources activities, policies, processes, and procedures. The role involves assisting with day-to-day HR operations, maintaining employee records, and supporting recruiting and training activities.

Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, with a focus on supporting recruiting activities on a daily basis
Confidentially complete, orderly and timely maintain all employee records and files
Assist in daily clerical activities including scanning paper files into electronic files
Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
Assist in the compliance of state and federal employment regulations as well as corporate and policies and procedures
Collaborate with training supervisor to identify personnel requiring training
Engage with each trainee until they demonstrate confidence in their job responsibilities
Collaborate with the training supervisor to align the work schedule, ensuring that training sessions are given priority
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (grievances, unemployment, recruiting, etc)
Provide customer service and serve as a point of contact to both employees and the public
Compile and prepare spreadsheets on various HR related fields
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Performs various job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.), electronic data bases, computers and software programs
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
