Responsibilities
Provide lab, onboard, and distance support and services direct to our fleet customers and our own field support team with cloud technologies
Perform research, data transfers, troubleshooting, installations, and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, fielding, troubleshooting, and repairing of Nosis and Nosis Cloud software, devices, systems, and third-party applications
Perform technical activities which impact the proposal, system level design, detail design and manufacture of advanced software and cloud services systems
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience)
Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards
Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task
Commitment to ongoing professional development

Quick learner who can operate independently and resolve complex issues, but also work well with a team to provide and take input to accomplish tasks
Cloud Computing, Support, or Administration Experience
Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux Server Administration experience
Oracle Database operation and maintenance
Previous CANES or PPLAN Network administrator experience
Must be able to complete all requirements for DoD 8570 Certification within 6 months
Must have strong organizational and analytical skills as well as practical problem-solving and decision making-skills
Ability to work well under pressure, with minimal supervision, and be able to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously
Load and update software applications as required
Operation in a shipboard Information Technology Customer support capacity
Linux, ORACLE, VMware, Hyper-V, MSSQL, Windows Server 2008 or higher
CompTIA Security + Certification
Linux + Certification or equivalent training and experience
AWS Credentials or Similar
Experience with VBScript, JavaScript, Windows Scripting, WBEM, .NET, JBOSS
Experience with CANES or PPLAN Environments
Use, administration, and maintenance of Nosis or STRMS Software Suites
