Responsibilities
Ability to read, understand and communicate paint specifications to paint team
Work with Purchasing Department and outside vendors to ensure accurate product and equipment is ordered
Order all paint and equipment for Paint / Hydro & Blast department according to project specifications
Compute and track all paint consumption and maintain stock levels to meet production demand
Maintain air quality/waste removal documentation per regulatory requirements and ISO documentation
Document spooling, components and finished projects through the paint process
Maintain MSDS records for paint department
Work with Document Control to ensure all copies and needed paperwork have been received before shipping
Check and document coating thickness and blast profile requirements per project specifications
Provide requested documentation to Quality or 3rd-party Inspectors as required/requested
Deliver completed GPS logbooks to Shipping Department after project completion
Coordinate component and finished skid transportation with Material Coordinators and Assembly Supervisors
Coordinate finished Towers and Vessels transportation with Material Coordinators and applicable Supervisors
Track and report on post fabrication progress of all applicable equipment and or task
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment desired
Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
Must have very effective organizational skills
Effective listening, written and verbal communications skills
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Work under very limited supervision
