Responsibilities
Supporting electronic control-type projects
Working with customers to scope out what the requirements are for a new controls type project
Bill of material (component) selection
Working on full Statements of Work to help define the control architecture of a machine
Writing all of the application code
Benchtop testing of new control systems
Traveling onsite to help customers with commissioning and startup
Managing software IP and code in a common PDM vault
Interacting with customers at all phases of the design process
Qualification
Required
Strong skillset around software control and development
Managing software IP and code in a common PDM vault
Strong understanding of the mechanical principles that the control system will have to interact with
Ability to interact with customers at all phases of the design process
Experience in writing application code and benchtop testing of new control systems
Ability to travel onsite to help customers with commissioning and startup (up to 20% travel expected)
