Responsibilities

Research emerging Android technologies and assess their applicability to IFE systems
Investigate user experience improvements for touchscreen interfaces in cabin environments
Explore connectivity solutions for streaming and content synchronization
Contribute to proof-of-concept development for new features and capabilities
Document code, testing procedures, and research findings
Participate in agile development processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, UX designers, and aviation certification specialists
Present findings and progress updates to the R&D team

Required

Bachelors in Computer Science
Must be able to commute and work on-site 5 days a week
Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited four-year college or university
Applicants must be authorized to work on a full-time basis for any employer in the U.S
Pre-employment drug testing is required for safety sensitive positions or as may otherwise be required by contract or law
All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S

Preferred

Colleges in the PNW (Oregon, Washington) are preferred
Students graduating from Portland High schools are also preferred
