Responsibilities

Project manager for multiple projects across the country
Accountable for order execution including schedule, financial, and commissioning performance
Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations (if required) upon project kickoff
Set firm expectations on expected product release dates
Use COMPAS to make configuration changes related to project changes or material adds to orders
Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues
Increase business unit margins through positive value adds to change orders, price escalations and selling extended warranties
Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues
Track ship shorts
Provide Financial Invoice Summaries and reconciliation support to closeout project at the completion of contracted scope of supply
Coordinate deliveries with project site
Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations
Apply skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects pursuant to customer deliverables and agreed upon contract terms
Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problems
Develop risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned
Comply with Siemens’ policies and procedures
Demonstrate ownership of the project with minimal intervention from Sales
Assist and support in warranty related claims while balancing best bottom-line results and customer experience

Required

BA/BS in engineering or business administration
3 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products
Experience with SAP, and exposure to Tableau etc
Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

BS in engineering
Working with distributors, contractors (electrical and general), and in construction market
Current PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products
Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents
Proven ability to demonstrate and apply strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing and leadership skills
Experience with COMPAS
Achievement & Results Orientation Able to identify complex problems, analyze options, and reach positive, effective, and practical solutions
Customer Service Orientation Works well with Internal and External customers utilizing strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
Industry Knowledge Understands our Channels of Distribution Direct and Indirect and is aware of risk of litigation, makes key managers aware of and works to mitigate exposure from affiliates, distribution, Joint Ventures, EPC, and General Contractors

Perspective See clearly beyond their own vantage point across functional areas specifically manufacturing facilities to successfully coordinate related products
Communication Effectively and efficiently communicate knowledge across functional areas both with internal and external Project Stakeholders
