ServiceNow Architect
Fujitsu is currently seeking a skilled ServiceNow Architect to join their expanding SaaS practice. Responsibilities
Define and evolve the comprehensive ServiceNow platform architecture, with a particular focus on ITOM, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies, industry best practices, and ServiceNow's product roadmap
Develop long-term architectural roadmaps for ServiceNow ITOM deployments, considering scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
Lead discovery workshops and strategic planning sessions with key business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and opportunities
Translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable, and sustainable ServiceNow ITOM solution designs and technical specifications
Serve as the lead architect for major ServiceNow ITOM implementations, overseeing the end-to-end design, development, and deployment lifecycle
Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to development and implementation teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance
Design and oversee complex integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and other enterprise systems (CMDB, monitoring tools, ITSM, HR, ERP, cloud providers etc.)
Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, particularly the full ITOM suite (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Health Log Analytics, Cloud Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management integrations with ITOM) and related technologies
Establish and enforce architectural governance, design patterns, and standards across all ServiceNow ITOM implementations
Conduct technical reviews, health checks, and performance optimizations of existing ServiceNow ITOM instances and ongoing projects
Evaluate new ServiceNow features, releases, and third-party tools to recommend adoption based on strategic value and architectural fit
Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management, clients, and project teams, articulating complex technical solutions and trade-offs in a clear and concise manner
Lead technical discussions, present architectural designs, and provide compelling justifications for proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Mentor and guide junior architects, technical consultants, and developers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in technical roles within the ServiceNow ecosystem, with at least 5 years specifically as a Solution Architect or Lead Architect
Deep and extensive hands-on architectural experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules, including but not limited to: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Health Log Analytics, Cloud Management
Expert-level proficiency in the ServiceNow platform principles: CMDB architecture (CISM), data model, platform security, integration capabilities (REST API, SOAP, JDBC, Orchestration), workflow engine, scoped applications, and performance tuning
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is mandatory
Multiple ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications specific to ITOM (e.g., CIS-Discovery, CIS-Service Mapping, CIS-Event Management, CIS-Cloud Management)
Proven ability to design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems
Strong understanding of ITIL v3/v4 framework and how ITOM integrates across ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills
