Responsibilities

Supervises foreclosure team and outsourcers on day-to-day workflows, intercoms, and work queues to ensure timeliness in delivery and adherence to policies and procedures
Responsible for recommending hiring and termination decisions, overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning and directing work; managing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Manages performance metrics of assigned portfolios; provides management with weekly and monthly performance summary reports
Reviews exception reports related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve bankruptcy timeline performance
Works through controllable bankruptcy delays to circumvent increases in Aged Inventory
Effectively leads staff by enhancing performance through motivational goal setting, training to expand knowledge of job functions, and maintaining a system of review to ensure accuracy and strengthen staff performance
Maintains communication with all business units, most notably: Loss Mitigation, Default Services, General Counsel, attorneys, and vendors
Provides timely recognition and review of items that must be escalated to legal and proper departments; researches and resolves global ad loan level issues
Monitors monthly, weekly, and daily exception reports to ensure accuracy of production
Supervision of Outsourcer(s) and Default Staff on issues relating to areas of responsibility, servicing system, processes, and procedures; including maintaining accurate records and reports
Performs productivity, quality assurance and compliance reviews; updates management with progress reports and notification of any potential problems or issues that may interfere with productivity
Monitors foreclosure matters with the vendors to complete foreclosure in a timely manner
Provides reasons for delay when foreclosure will not meet the Investors requirements; responds to vendor intercoms

Required

5+ years' experience in the Mortgage Servicing industry with at least 3 years in Foreclosure Operations
2+ years' experience supervising staff size of 5 - 15 employees
2+ years' experience and shows proficiency in Black Knight Financial Services (MSP/BKFS) servicing system
Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with investor, insurer, state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position incl FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, VA, FHA and USDA
Understands 1st lien/2nd lien foreclosure process to assist vendors with proper instructions to minimize loss
Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrates a general working knowledge of all aspects of loan administration and loan servicing
Demonstrates good working knowledge of investor guidelines and servicing practices
Experience working with mortgage loan documentation, best servicing practices regarding bankruptcy processing, default, bankruptcy laws and regulations
High School Degree or equivalent required

Preferred

FCRA and/or FDCPA training/certification preferred
Bilingual (English and Spanish) considered a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
