The Manager Accounting – Biopharma role is a critical leadership position responsible for providing accounting support for R&D business cases while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and managing intercompany accounting processes.

Responsibilities
Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, DEA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.)
Manage the intercompany accounting processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards
Review vendor contracts to ensure accurate accounting treatment, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies
Oversee accounting for foreign currency transactions, including rate updates, remeasurement, translation and analysis of currency fluctuations
Review and support accounting for R&D projects, ensuring accurate reporting, capitalization considerations where applicable, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards
Demonstrate motivation to expand analytics capabilities, including developing proficiency in Power BI for reporting and visualization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of GAAP with IFRS knowledge a plus
Minimum 12+ years in financial role, business development, or accounting role
Demonstrated capacity to handle diverse number of projects simultaneously
Strong ability to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams
Independent, inquisitive and a self-starter
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
CPA or Chartered Accountant highly desired
Public accounting experience preferred
