Responsibilities
Inspect materials, components, and finished products to verify conformity to requirements
Use precision instruments, visual checks and data reviews to verify conformity to requirements
Identify and document defects, escalating issues to the quality team as required and ensure nonconforming material is handled in accordance with ISO and QMS requirements
Accurately document inspection results in accordance with ISO 9001 and QMS requirements
Perform inspections in compliance with ISO 9001 and QMS requirements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year in a full-time manufacturing environment
Perform accurate inspections using appropriate tools and methods
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Proficient in GD&T
Detect and document defects with precision and accuracy
Execute inspection processes consistently to ensure reliable results
Clearly report findings and collaborate with manufacturing and quality personnel
This position may require the ability to lift 50 lbs. at chest level several times a day
Good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated manual dexterity and fine motor skills for precision calibration and assembly of small parts
20/20 or better corrected vision
The ability to see the full spectrum of colors and track fine details visually to discover defects in parts or processes
