OFFICE TECHNICIAN (TYPING)
The California Department of Insurance is an equal opportunity employer seeking a dynamic Office Technician (Typing) to perform a variety of general office duties. The role involves providing secretarial and technical support to the Financial Surveillance Branch while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Perform a variety of the most difficult general office duties
Exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in performing the assigned task
Perform a variety of secretarial and technical support/assistance to the Financial Surveillance Branch (FSB) in the Sacramento and Oakland Office
Qualification
Required
The ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications
A valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired
Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
