Responsibilities

Join the lab team at Scripps Green Hospital, one of our busiest sites for transfusion medicine
Work both on the bench and ensure regulations are enforced
Participate in the blood bank technical committee meetings with counterparts from other sites
Serve as a resource in training new hires and students

Required

Baccalaureate Degree or degree acceptable by California Laboratory Field Services for the application of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Limited License
4 years' experience in high complexity testing
Good critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with medical terminology and computer systems
CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab
