Clinical Financial Coordinator
Infinite Legacy is seeking a Clinical Financial Coordinator to serve as a liaison between clinical departments and the Finance team. The role involves verifying and coding clinical invoices, communicating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with financial transactions and documentation.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate verification of invoices received, with proper coding to various product-lines and expense categories, prior to forwarding to Clinical department leader or designee for approval. This includes all types of expenses incurred in the normal course of business. Examples of vendors submitting invoices include surgeons, transportation, business and medical professionals, laboratories, product and service providers, pathology, and/or other clinically related vendors supporting organ and tissue recovery. Maintains contact and communication with all hospital partners to ensure timely receipt of invoices supporting donor activity
Is responsible for obtaining the information necessary to create & manage clinical vendor profiles within the SAP Concur Expense & Invoice management system. This includes making sure that all vendor invoices and statements are received electronically
Works directly with vendors and internal staff to resolve invoice discrepancies as needed. In collaboration with department leaders and the finance team, analyzes and reconciles vendor statements, answers all vendor inquiries & payment requests in a professional and proactive manner
Works with the finance & management teams in researching, analyzing, and obtaining operational support for the financial statement monthly variance reports. Works with the Accounts Receivable Coordinators to ensure all clinical expenses that are reimbursable are billed within the same financial period

Qualification
Required
Associate degree in a business-related field; or in lieu of Associates degree, 2 years of relevant work experience may be substituted
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with all Microsoft Office 365 applications (including Teams & SharePoint), with a focus on Excel
Customer-service oriented self-starter who can work with or without direct supervision. Must be capable of quickly assessing the organization's needs and providing support
Ability to travel to Infinite Legacy regional offices
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
3 years' experience in Accounts Payable role or Medical Claims Processing preferred
Experience working with automated expense management platforms (such as SAP Concur Expense and Invoice) and accounting software packages (such as Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains) preferred
