Responsibilities
Directs engineering functions across multiple sections or a large complex job function
Drives strategic initiatives that enhance organizational capabilities and performance
Oversees large-scale projects and ensures integration across business units
Develops policies and frameworks to standardize engineering practices company-wide
Influences decision-making on capital investments and technology adoption
Represents engineering in cross-functional leadership forums and strategic planning sessions
Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements at all levels
Leads organizational change initiatives to improve engineering efficiency and innovation
Performs other duties as assigned
Leads all engineering strategy and technical oversight, including approving designs, upgrades, and enhancements that improve reliability, safety, and overall plant performance
Directs cross‑functional coordination among internal teams, contractors, and external engineers to deliver operational and capital projects on time and within budget
Continuously improves plant performance and reliability by driving engineering solutions, equipment upgrades, and data‑driven reliability programs that minimize interruptions and optimize asset health
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering
Typically requires 10 years of related experience
