Senior Supervisor, Material Review Board (Onsite)

The Senior Supervisor, Material Review Board will lead a cross-functional team in the segregation, evaluation, and disposition of nonconforming materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead and supported initiatives to increase nonconforming material disposition throughput
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to develop corrective actions where possible to return prior nonconforming materials to the supply chain
Implement data-driven decision-making to streamline operations and reduce material waste
Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards such as AS9100 and FAA requirements by maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
Enables/encourages training and guidance to team members on MRB procedures and best practices. Supported QMRB level increases for seven of nine quality resource coordinators (QRCs)
Provided guidance to team members on prioritization of work in support of monthly goals for QN burndown and scrap allotment
Supplied data to senior leadership on current QN inventory and monthly plans

Required

Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality or closely related industrial environment or an Associate's degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality or closely related industrial environment
In absence of a degree, 9 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality or closely related industrial environment
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel)

Preferred

Knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN
Prior experience in a team lead/supervisory capacity
SAP experience
