We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer Consultant to lead the development of our BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) solution, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to design and implement a robust solution.

Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the BNPL solution, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to design and deliver a seamless user experience
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and ensuring the overall success of the project
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve the BNPL solution
Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders, and provide timely solutions to any roadblocks
Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role, with experience in a startup developing solutions on a full cycle
Strong experience in designing and developing complex software solutions, preferably in the finance and payment solutions
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with front-end development using modern frameworks such as React or Angular
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA is a plus
Prior experience in BNPL solutions or the finance industry is highly desirable (or understanding business rules and regulations in the banking industry)
