Responsibilities
Design and coordinate mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and related systems for mission critical and high-performance facilities
Develop drawings, calculations, and specifications that meet project and client requirements
Review applicable codes, standards, and design criteria to ensure compliance and quality
Collaborate with internal design disciplines and external partners to ensure project success
Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Apply independent judgment and creative problem-solving to address technical challenges
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards
Support mentoring and technical development within the team as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or ability to obtain within one year
5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in mission critical or similar complex environments
Strong technical and analytical skills
Independent thinker with initiative and creativity in problem-solving
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Experience with Revit or other 3D design tools preferred
