Responsibilities
Execute a critical set of projects focused on automating and scaling core data infrastructure platforms (Kafka, Cassandra, RDS, Postgres, Elasticache) primarily within the AWS cloud environment
Manage and operate critical data infrastructure that powers over 100 microservices serving millions of users worldwide
Collaborate across time zones to ensure that Webex services are performant, resilient, and always available
Drive continuous improvements in observability and efficiency
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Jenkins
Automate operations for distributed data platforms
Qualification
Required
Deep, hands-on experience with Terraform (resource provisioning)
Hands-on experience with Ansible (configuration management)
Extensive, hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Expert proficiency in Python for infrastructure scripting and API integration (e.g., Boto3)
Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Jenkins
Practical experience automating operations for distributed data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Cassandra, RDS, Elasticache)
Proven ability to execute, deliver, and document complex technical projects autonomously
Preferred
Strong skills in both operations and development
