The Maker Education Curriculum Developer role focuses on designing hands-on projects and interdisciplinary learning for children aged 3-12, empowering teachers and fostering a passion for engineering and design in students.
Education Management

Responsibilities

Design hands-on projects that ignite resilience, inquisitiveness, and empathy in children
Showcase your intellectual curiosity by weaving multiple learning points into a seamless, interdisciplinary experience
Create thematic worlds as immersive as a Disney World ride
Empower teachers across all NORY campuses to deliver your vision consistently, using your multi-channel communication skills – especially video
Apply your experience with children aged 3-12 to understand their developmental stages and interests
Train and coach teachers to become the rock stars of our campsites

Qualification

Required

Passion for creative hands-on engineering, design-thinking process, and mechatronics
Experience designing learning experiences for children aged 3-12
Ability to design hands-on projects that ignite resilience, inquisitiveness, and empathy in children
Intellectual curiosity to weave multiple learning points into a seamless, interdisciplinary experience
Strong storytelling skills to create immersive thematic worlds
Multi-channel communication skills, especially video, to empower teachers across all NORY campuses
Experience with child development to understand developmental stages and interests of children
Ability to train and coach teachers effectively
Visual portfolio of maker projects including woodworking, 3D printing, laser cutting, crafts, basic electronics (circuits, motors), Arduino, computing controllers and platforms (Raspberry Pi, Microbits), and coding tools like Scratch

Preferred

Coding skills, particularly for empowering older children to create advanced robotic projects
