Responsibilities
Lead a team of application developers through project initiation, execution, and deployment
Provide direction and coaching as part of enabling them in their career progression
Foster an atmosphere of respect and trust while crafting a space for your team to balance the demands of work and life
Be responsible for effective collaboration across multi-functional teams
Provide stakeholders the world-class platform features they need to engage with Salesforce customers
Work with a group of very savvy, highly motivated software engineers
Establish credibility with smart engineers quickly
Motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
Run Agile processes, and have worked on a product that was actually released for public consumption
Drive quality through automation
Model the Salesforce values for their team
Take ownership of project delivery and multi-task on multiple projects/feature development
Qualification
Required
6+ years of people management experience related to software engineering industry
Experience delivering features for enterprise-scale technology organizations
Ability to establish credibility with smart engineers quickly
Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills, impeccable organizational and time management skills
Flexible, dedicated, and comfortable working with ambiguous specifications and can prioritize on the fly
Experience running Agile processes, and have worked on a product that was actually released for public consumption
Experience in driving quality through automation
Compelling communicator and story-teller
Focus on partnership and collaboration with your peers and partners
Someone who can model the Salesforce values for their team (e.g. equality for all, respect, giving back, transparency, fun)
Ability to take ownership of project delivery and multi-task on multiple projects/feature development
Bachelor degree or equivalent is desired
Preferred
Prior work experience with AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, Natural Language Understanding, Natural Language Generation or agentic frameworks
Experience delivering features on the Salesforce platform
Experience with operational ownership and management of an enterprise product or service
10+ years software development experience with a track record of delivering technically demanding projects
