Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for two Agile teams developing solutions for data management platforms
Champion Agile principles and practices, ensuring teams adhere to Scrum methodology while adapting to the dynamic needs of FinTech product development
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
Identify and remove blockers, enabling teams to deliver high-quality increments with speed and precision
Track team performance metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
Mentor team members on Agile best practices
Partners with engineering leads, QA, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
Support Agile transformation and scaling initiatives (SAFe) across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with 2+ years in FinTech or financial services
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Lean principles
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence
Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred
Certification in Agile methodologies (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and Agile testing practices
Knowledge of financial compliance and risk management frameworks
