Electronic Technician

Responsibilities

Provide support for government customer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD)
Read/interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings for fabricating/testing/maintaining weapon/avionics systems
Conduct troubleshooting using standard and unique diagnostic test equipment
Construct, repair, splice, solder wiring, and replace connectors per mil spec standards
Troubleshoot system failures using standard test equipment
Develop/executing established processes to simplify difficult to manufacture production line items
Set up, calibrate, and test RF equipment and components
Use precision measurements on a variety of electronic equipment

Required

Interim Secret clearance
Secret clearance must be able to obtain
US Citizenship required
1+ years of related experience
Experience reading/interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings for the purpose of fabricating/testing/maintaining weapon/avionics systems
Experience conducting troubleshooting using standard and unique diagnostic test equipment
Experience constructing, repairing, splicing, soldering wiring, replacing coaxial, USB, Ethernet, and electrical connectors per mil spec standards per established standards
Experience troubleshooting system failures using standard test equipment i.e. Fluke meter, Oscilloscope, and spectrum analyzer, as well as US military test equipment for Electronic Combat Systems
Experience developing/executing established processes to simplify difficult to manufacture production line items, streamlined procedures, to ensure accuracy and completeness of products and implemented solutions
Experience setting up, calibrating and testing RF equipment and components to compare against manufactures specifications
Experience using precision measurements on a variety of electronic equipment such as Agilent series Spectrum Analyzer (26.5GHz), RF Signal Generator (20GHz), Signal Source Analyzer (7 GHz), Noise Figure Analyzer (26.5 GHz), Dual Channel Power Meter, Digital Oscilloscope (500 MHz)
Current Secret Clearance required to start
4+ years experience
Self-motivated; ability to maintain excellence with minimum supervision
