Responsibilities
Responsible for creating and maintaining Mechanical Engineering Change Notices
Create and modify concept drawings, detailed design, assembly and fabrication drawings; BOMs and other related design documentation
Work with cross-functional team to design and develop new products and improve existing designs
Generate 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks
Create and properly document detailed drawings complying with metric standards
Create, maintain and share process documentation in ERP system and SharePoint
Regular communication with other engineering disciplines, the sales and production teams
Follow all VJX and OSHA workplace safety requirements and policies

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
One internship or limited experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and mechanical components
Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed mechanical drawings
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Must be a highly organized, self-motivated, team player
Demonstrated working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Legally authorized to work in the US and able to successfully pass a complete background check and drug screening
Preferred
Experience in electro-mechanical design
Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience
Experience working with ERP systems
Ability to read and speak Mandarin Chinese
