Software Quality Assurance Manager
The Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead a team responsible for implementing patches, fixes, and application regression testing. Oversees the design, development, and implementation of testing frameworks by applying standard practices and utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies
Delivers ongoing support for quality assurance
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification, from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
Five years of experience in planning, developing, and executing software quality assurance, including at least two years in a lead or supervisory role
A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required
Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
Knowledge of software development life cycle
Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks
Knowledge of query tools such as Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Knowledge of programming languages and scripting for test automation
Knowledge of defect tracking systems, version control systems, and test management platforms
Knowledge of methods used in database management to organize, access, test, and assess data
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and their testing requirements
Knowledge of public sector or education sector software systems
