Electronics Service Technician
SWS Equipment, LLC is seeking an Electronics Service Technician to support the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electronic inspection and imaging equipment. This role involves troubleshooting electronic systems, performing repairs, and documenting service activities while working in a clean service facility and occasionally traveling to customer job sites.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic inspection and imaging systems
Perform component-level electronic repairs, including soldering and board-level work
Complete mechanical or system-level repairs as required
Assemble, test, calibrate, and prepare equipment for return to service
Read and interpret electronic diagrams, schematics, and service documentation
Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and service activities in company systems
Communicate technical findings, repair status, and recommendations to internal teams and customers
Coordinate with internal service personnel and authorized service centers
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
Travel to customer job sites as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of hands-on experience with electronics diagnostics and repair
Experience repairing electronic components or assemblies; 1-3 years experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret electronic diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
Proficient with computers and digital service documentation systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate with documentation
Ability to troubleshoot independently and collaborate effectively within a team
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic repair experience
Familiarity with electrical or hydraulic schematics
Soldering Experience
Experience assembling, testing, or servicing technical equipment
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (up to approximately 25%)
Exposure to municipal, industrial, or heavy equipment environments
Welding experience
CDL Class A or B (helpful for operating or transporting equipment, not required)
Technical or mechanical certifications
