Responsibilities
Implement and maintain observability telemetry—including metrics, logs, and traces—for applications and infrastructure to ensure systems are fully instrumented and production‑ready
Assist with onboarding applications into observability platforms such as Dynatrace, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic, including configuring dashboards, alerts, and basic anomaly detection
Work closely with development and SRE teams to enable structured logging, distributed tracing, and core metrics, and validate observability requirements during Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs)
Configure and tune alerts based on golden signals (latency, errors, traffic, saturation) while reducing alert noise and supporting incident response with relevant telemetry data
Support root cause analysis efforts by using observability tools, maintaining dashboards/documentation, and contributing to on-call or operational readiness tasks
Assist in automating observability onboarding and validation processes while creating reusable dashboard and alert templates that align with established standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
2–4 years of hands‑on experience in Observability, SRE, Monitoring Engineering, or a similar role
Working knowledge of metrics, logs, and tracing concepts with practical experience in at least one observability platform (Dynatrace, ELK/Elastic, Datadog, or New Relic)
Ability to configure dashboards/alerts, support incident response using observability tools, and apply basic automation through scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
