Administrative Assistant - Receptionist - 1548

They are seeking an Administrative Assistant - Receptionist to provide day-to-day administrative support, perform clerical duties, and assist with division-sponsored events.

Responsibilities
Greet and check-in visitors according to visitor protocols
Answer incoming phone calls, route calls appropriately or take messages, and assist callers as required
Mail and check distribution, shipping and receiving (delivering received packages throughout the office)
Escorting guests as required around the office
Provide administrative support to division leadership on project-based work; performing general clerical duties including, but not limited to document creation, photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing
Assist with division sponsored events and hosting guests to include set up, coordination of catering, sign postings, etc
Assist with purchase requisitions as needed
Maintain adequate inventories of office and breakroom supplies as needed
Keep supply closet stocked
Keep break area organized and stocked
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 – 7 years of administrative or reception experience, or other relevant experience
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
Welcoming personality
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, and to interact effectively with all levels within the organization
US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
May require light to moderate physical effort, involving frequent sitting and use of hands while performing duties, some standing and walking, keyboarding, reading from computer screens and hard copy, writing and listening to other people, carrying or lifting up to 45 pounds
Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated
