Responsibilities
Receive inbound shipments from carriers and internal transfers
Verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against purchase orders and packing slips
Inspect materials for visible damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately
Enter receiving transactions accurately in the ERP/MRP system
Label, tag, and identify materials per company and quality requirements
Route received materials to inspection, stock, or production locations as required
Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Materials teams to resolve shortages, overages, or nonconformances
Maintain organized receiving and staging areas
File and receive documentation according to company procedures
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits as needed
Follow all safety, ITAR, and quality system requirements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
Basic computer skills (data entry, email, spreadsheets)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, and part labels
Clear communication and ability to work cross-functionally
Time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of inventory control and warehouse best practices
Preferred
Additional coursework in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations preferred
2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or material control in a manufacturing environment preferred
