This role is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while providing a safe environment for data operations.

Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain all data center MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, and fire suppression systems
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all critical systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards
Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for service and maintenance activities as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and operational logs
Assist in the implementation and adherence to facility operating procedures and best practices
Support emergency response and recovery efforts during unforeseen events or disasters
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an Operating Engineer in data center or critical facilities environments
Strong knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Q01 and Q99 certifications are highly preferred
You must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
