Responsibilities

Support the Court Administrator in managing daily operations, policies, and administrative functions of the Court
Assist with case management processes, including filings, motions, and supervising administrative staff
Support purchasing, vendors, and facility operations, including emergency preparedness and continuity planning
Support human resources functions, including payroll, leave approvals, and staff supervision
Assist with the development and implementation of workflows, technology initiatives, and administrative procedures
Provide guidance and support to judges, staff, and the public regarding court operations, policies, and procedures
Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by the Administrative Judge or Court Administrator
Under the direction and supervision of the Court Administrator, work collaboratively with the administrative staff in performing a variety of management and administrative functions for the overall operation of the Court

Required

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
At least 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in court administration, government, or a similar administrative/management role
Experience with budget preparation, fiscal management, and purchasing
Familiarity with human resources processes, including payroll and leave administration
Experience with case management systems, workflow development, or court operational procedures
Strong leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze policies and procedures, develop improvements, and implement changes effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with judges, staff, attorneys, and the public
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive court matters
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
Demonstrated dependability, reliability, and excellent attendance record
