Start in 2026 SummerFormlabs is building tools that make it possible for anyone to bring their ideas to life, and they are seeking a Materials Intern for Summer 2026. In this role, you will work alongside the Materials team in the lab, developing, formulating, and testing new materials for 3D printing.

Responsibilities
Work in our materials development lab on various materials challenges
Qualification
Required
Passionate about material science or chemistry
Comfortable working in a wet lab environment
Have completed research or coursework with polymers
Comfortable working with CAD programs (ie SolidWorks)
Basic computer programming (Python)
Background in organic chemistry or plastic engineering
