Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Develop scalable ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
Implement data pipelines following Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
Optimize and manage data integration across Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 environments
Develop data processing and analytics solutions using Python, R, T-SQL, and PL/SQL
Create optimized datasets for reporting and downstream applications
Design enterprise data models and data warehouse solutions
Build and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reports
Implement validation, monitoring, and governance processes
Maintain data lineage and enforce compliance standards
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements
Deliver weekly progress updates and routine status reports
Qualification
Required
ETL/ELT development in on-prem and cloud environments
Python, R, T-SQL and/or PL/SQL
Azure Synapse Analytics & Azure Data Lake Storage
Hands-on Medallion Architecture implementation (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
On-prem relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
Power BI data modeling and reporting
Data modeling and data warehouse design
Data governance, validation, monitoring, and lineage management
Preferred
Experience supporting predictive or advanced analytics workloads
Familiarity with cloud-based governance and monitoring frameworks
Strong documentation and communication skills
