The role involves installing, configuring, and testing network equipment at client properties, ensuring systems are installed properly and on time.

Responsibilities
We install best in class residential networks (ResNet) at colleges and universities and you’re responsible for installing, configuring, and testing our cable, access points, and switches
Label, route, and install cat5e/cat6 cabling systems in a new and existing environment
Perform equipment move, add, change tasks as required
Ensure that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Boldyn Networks’ procedures and quality control standards
Communicate with Managers and/or Project Manager to resolve discrepancies or issues
Provide accurate documentation of completed work
Responsible for providing proper documentation for inventory control and for maintaining proper inventory for projects
Attend construction meetings and perform site readiness assessments
Communicate with customers, customer representatives, contractors, and Boldyn Networks’ staff as necessary to install and test equipment
Qualification
Required
Full-time, actively enrolled student during course of internship
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in an approved program [computing, informatics, engineering]
Professional, hobby or academic experience in desktop troubleshooting, PC repair, IT help desk, or robotics clubs
Ability to work 40+ hours weekly, and travel 90% of the summer
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must pass a criminal background check to work on any of our customer's properties
