Responsibilities
Review and assess the existing data sources and data source systems within the agency
Identify threats to data validity and reliability
Work with various divisions and stakeholders to develop actionable recommendations
Review data source training materials and conduct subject matter expert and stakeholder interviews
Shadow data source users and conduct source system table analysis
Review, synthesize and prioritize all threats
Develop and present actionable recommendations to mitigate identified threats
Qualification
Required
5+ years of BA Experience in IT projects. IT software/application project experience required
A master's degree in business administration, with a concentration in information technology or a bachelor's degree in computer and information technology or related field and 5 years of experience in a related field
Excel spreadsheets Required 5 Years
Knowledge of data warehouses Required 5 Years
Ability to assess data validity and reliability Required 5 Years
Experience conducting data source / system reviews Required 5 Years
Ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data Required 5 Years
Experience evaluating business processes and system procedures Required 5 Years
Ability to build trust and working relationships Required 5 Years
Facilitation and interview skills Required 5 Years
Translation of technical issues into plain language Required 5 Years
project management and self-management skills Required 5 Years
Preferred
Experience conducting threat or risk assessments Highly desired 5 Years
Experience working in state government or large public-sector organizations Highly desired 5 Years
