Small Business Banking Lender
Community Bank of the South is dedicated to helping the local business community thrive, and they are seeking a Small Business Banking Lender. This role is responsible for business development and sales within the business banking segment, focusing on personalized financial solutions and strategic lending.

Responsibilities
Create new loan portfolio and generate new client relationships via outbound prospecting and networking
Develop customized lending and deposit solutions based on detailed financial analysis
Support branch operations to ensure seamless client service
Represent the bank in the community to foster business development
Ensure 100% compliance with policies and regulations
Goal Achievement. Driven to hit and surpass sales targets for deposits, lending, and bank services
Financial Analysis. Conduct deep-dive financial reviews, and loan pre-screening. Prospecting, creating and managing a pipeline of opportunity specific to companies in the $40M revenue space
Lending Lifecycle. Manage the end-to-end loan process, from initial document collection to final closing support. Execute successful sales campaigns
Operational Excellence. Uphold strict risk protocols, accurate balancing, and ticketing standards. Provide activity reporting and progress toward objectives to leadership
Regulatory Compliance. Ensure 100% adherence to all industry regulations and S.A.F.E. Act mandates
Qualification
Required
2–7 years of recent expertise in Small Business Banking or a comparable commercial lending role
Proven record in credit analysis, loan structuring, and financial underwriting
Demonstrated history of acquiring new clients and expanding existing business portfolios
Competency in conducting independent loan pre-screens, detailed cash flow evaluations, strong sales acumen and pipeline management skills, payment processing problem escalation and resolution skills
A collaborator with an initiative-taking collaborator with a strong drive to meet and exceed performance goals. The ability to manage and execute multiple priorities effectively
Superior communication skills with a talent for high-level relationship management. proficient in the use of sales force to manage opportunities
Preferred
A well-established pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to being successful in this roll
Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred
An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
